My name is Szabolcs Gergely. I picked up my first camera at the age of ten (still in the film era). There was a photography class at school and we learned how to work with film and the ins and outs of the dark room. At that time we only shot black and white, since it was a lot more accessible and easy to work with. After that photography class ended, I completely abandoned photography and focused on my musical studies as a pianist and on learning foreign languages. It was around 2001 that I put my hands on a digital camera and rediscovered my love for photography again. What you see here is a portfolio of the past 10 years.
